Links to Health/Wellness in Midcoast Maine
I am fortunate to be part of an accomplished, high-quality health and wellness community. There are so many extraordinary practitioners and healers in Midcoast Maine. Here are links to some of my colleagues' websites.
Chiropractic
Simply Chiropractic (on FaceBook) -- Dr. Cindy Danchak's office provides manual adjustments, e-stim, tractioning, manual therapies and more. At The Belfast Center. Classic "snap and crack" but damn, she's really GOOD at it! And very intuitive. (207) 218-1227
Grace Chiropractic -- Dr. Susan Grace. About 180 degree difference from Dr. Cindy, but equally awesome. Susan's got a ton of tools in her belt, and I honestly don't know how she does what she does, but it works. It's super subtle but it works. Uses an activator, but very lightly, and corrects things using the Axial Stability Method. I'm a believer. 243 High St. Belfast, Maine 207-338-1130. sgracechiropractic@gmail.com Grace Chiropractic
Acupuncture
Cathryn Aiken of Arroyo Grande Acupuncture -- at The Belfast Center. Belfast Maine received a tremendous gift when Cathryn came to town! Japanese and Chinese acupuncture, cupping, a bit of shiatsu, herbs... a one-stop shop for healing. My husband thinks she is the best and that's all I need to know. On the 3rd floor!
Rhonda Feiman -- Doctor of Asian Medicine. Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs. Treating acute and chronic conditions with Japanese and Chinese acupuncture and customized Chinese herbal formulas. 18 Harbor Street Belfast Maine.
Energy Work/Reiki
BarbaraMary Thomas -- Reiki Master/Retired RN. Usui & Karuna Reiki therapy. Teaches classes. I had my Reiki I training with Barbara back in '00! 207-691-5070 in Rockport. Call or text.
Massage Therapy in Belfast
Anita Smith in The Belfast Center is terrific. She's back in practice, after a sizeable injury this past winter.
I have heard good things about Summer Ariza in downtown Belfast.
You know who's really good???
Claire Fogg at Renew Me Belfast -- Day Spa. She's there on Tuesdays and Fridays.
