Links to Health/Wellness in Midcoast Maine

I am fortunate to be part of an accomplished, high-quality health and wellness community. There are so many extraordinary practitioners and healers in Midcoast Maine. Here are links to some of my colleagues' websites.

Chiropractic

Grace Chiropractic -- Dr. Susan Grace. Not a "snapper and crack-er". Susan's got a ton of tools in her belt, and I honestly don't know how she does what she does, but it works. It's super subtle but it works. Uses an activator, but very lightly, and corrects things using the Axial Stability Method. I'm a believer. 243 High St. Belfast, Maine 207-338-1130. Acupuncture
Cathryn Aiken of Arroyo Grande Acupuncture -- at The Belfast Center. Belfast Maine received a tremendous gift when Cathryn came to town! Japanese and Chinese acupuncture, cupping, a bit of shiatsu, herbs... a one-stop shop for healing. My husband thinks she is the best and that's all I need to know. On the 3rd floor!

Talk Therapy
Maggie Quinn Karoff in downtown Belfast

Energy Work/Reiki
BarbaraMary Thomas -- Reiki Master/Retired RN. Usui & Karuna Reiki therapy. Teaches classes. I had my Reiki I training with Barbara back in '00! 207-691-5070 in Rockport. Call or text.

Spiritual Direction
Rev Dr Libby Catania at Limina Renewal Center in Searsport

Massage Therapy in Belfast
For relaxation massage or body treatments:

Claire Fogg at Renew Me Belfast -- Day Spa in downtown. She's there on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Unparalleled! Really! This is the massage I give myself when I really need to be bathed in bliss.

Amanda Caldwell at Ananda Yoga in downtown. Her treatment room is perfectly appointed; it's like being in a warm cocoon. HIGHLY recommend the polarity champissage.

For therapeutic massage:

(not sure who to recommend at this time other than myself! That's not very helpful, is it. Basically all my colleagues who I usually refer to have retired, closed their practice or moved away. It's on me to find new practitioners in the Waldo County area to recommend. If you think I should be recommending YOU, please email or text me as to why --- LOL! -- and if you convince me I will schedule a massage with you! How about that?!   :)  )

For bodywork:
Rayna Palm at Sovereign Body Rolfing ---! Oh my goodness. This is NOT the "rip you apart" Rolfing you know. I was so relaxed and happy after her tx, I'm going back for more. Surprisingly effective. New practitioner in town, deserves our inquiry and scheduling.
